EUCALIPTUS OIL /Eucalyptus Globulus Oil/
Obtained by steam distillation of twigs and leaves of the Eucalyptus Globulus variety of tree. It has antibacterial and antiviral effects. It is used in the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, catarrh, cough, sinusitis and rheumatic pains. Eucalyptus oil stimulates the immune mechanisms of the body. It relaxes bronchi, liquefies lingering mucous secretions and decongests nasal sinuses. It refreshes the mind in case of a cold or hayfever. Excellent for insect bites (relieves itching), burns, wounds and blisters. It has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory and disinfectant effect, so it is often used for inhalation. It disinfects and freshens the air, and is recommended for aromatizing rooms.
